Due Process Litigation

When a parent disagrees with the special education program or placement that the school district provides they can request an impartial hearing to settle the dispute. Due process cases can allow parents to obtain appropriate evaluations, school placements, teaching strategies, and related services. Due process cases can also allow parents to obtain compensatory damages to make up for services or supports that the district failed to provide the student.  Parents can also recover their legal fees when they are successful in a due process hearing.

Because Trevor Eisenman, PC is a small firm, Trevor works directly with every family that retains the firm.
