Tuition Reimbursement

If the public school district fails to provide your child with a Free and Appropriate Public Education you may be able to place your child in an appropriate school that you select and force the school district to reimburse you for the tuition.

In order to obtain tuition reimbursement the parents must establish: (1) the school district failed to offer or provide an appropriate education program and placement; (2) the private school selected by the parents was appropriate; and (3) the parents worked with the district fairly to give the district the opportunity to provide an appropriate placement.

Because tuition reimbursement cases are frequently contested by the school district, Trevor Eisenman, PC works with parents to evaluate and prepare these cases from the start.
